Police have arrested a 24-year-old man over the damage done to some of Canberra's oldest headstones at Saint John's Anglican Church in Reid last month. The unnamed man, who is in custody for unrelated matters, is expected to be charged with property damage in the ACT Magistrates Court on Thursday. The 22-year-old has pleaded not guilty to two counts of having sexual intercourse with a woman without her consent in her room at an Australian National University college.
