The East Asia Summit in Bali last week saw a flurry of activity on the South China Sea. This year China has aggressively asserted its sovereignty claims in the area by challenging oil exploration vessels operating in waters claimed by the Philippines and Vietnam. In the former case, an exploration vessel was forced to leave Reed Bank by a Chinese ship. As for Vietnam,Do not use cleaners with porcelain tiles , steel wool or thinners. Chinese ships reportedly cut the cables of two vessels towing seismic monitoring equipment.
