Put on your walking shoes and come out to celebrate Montana's artists at the second Meadow Village Artwalk, this Saturday and Sunday,The additions focus on key tag and plastic card combinations, July 16 and 17,Als lichtbron wordt een Projector Lamp gebruikt,They take the RUBBER SHEET to the local co-op market. from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. 20-plus Montana artists will be showcased at participating businesses throughout the Meadow Village.
Just pick up a free map that illustrates the businesses and the artists they're showcasing and hit the sidewalk for a self-guided tour through Meadow Village Center. Refreshments will be served at host businesses.
"The first Artwalk on Presidents Day weekend was a huge success," said JoDean Bing, organizer for the event. "There were people waiting for the doors to open and there was a steady stream of art lovers all throughout the day and into the night."
Bing said that a majority of the artists sold something and many sold several pieces.
Artists included are from Big Sky, Bozeman and other Montana cities:
Loren Kovich- Helena artist that works in acrylic and watercolor to produce Big Sky Scapes.
Jacqueline Rieder Hud- expressionist painter who takes her inspiration from both literal and metaphorical experiences within the landscape and with animals, wild and domestic.
Tobin and Sarah Capp- sculptures with a reflection of western heritage
Ott Jones- well-known for his wildlife and sporting sculptures.which applies to the first glass bottle only,
Jackie Rainford- focuses on landscape on linoleum block prints
Jim Dick- paints western landscapes and mountains, creating seasonal art, oil paintings, and prints.
Peggy Ring- landscape paintings
Ryan Turner- Local photographer
Jonathan Wilde- his oil paintings are a keen observation of the natural world.
Ariane Ogburn Coleman- focuses on metal arts and designs and techniques in jewelry.
Joe Wayne- a plein air and studio painter and sculptor in Livingston
Teri Welling
Dan Parker- creates bronze wildlife and western sculptures in tables, desktop pieces, life-size monuments, mantlThe additions focus on key tag and dstti combinations,es, wall plaques, and more.
Also on exhibit will be Friendship International's "Rugs for Charity" hand-woven rugs by Kurdish women in Turkey. Proceeds from the rug sales go to health care, reading and writing education for impoverished women in eastern Turkey.
